The objective of the geography minor is to acquaint the student with the differences and similarities that exist from place to place on the Earth’s surface in both natural and cultural environments. The minor is designed to accommodate a range of interests from the very general to specific subject matter within geography. Education majors who would be involved with a social science curriculum would also find the minor beneficial.
