CERTIFICATION UPDATES:
As of February 1, 2010, NYSED will no longer print paper certificates for time-limited certificate titles, such as Initial. TEACH should be used to verify certification status.
As of September 1, 2009, individuals interested in adding a Students with Disabilities certification without completing an approved program will need to complete the Autism Training Workshop.
Some individuals applying for Professional or Permanent certification may also be required to complete the Autism Training Workshop. For more information, go to: http://www.highered.nysed.gov/tcert/autism.html
As of July 1, 2009, NYSED will no longer accept paper applications for Fingerprint Clearance. Electronic applications must be submitted through the TEACH website.
