Trips & Excursions
During the semester students are offered to visit some of the most significant Italian sites under the guide and leadership of members of our faculty.
The sites are selected according to criteria related mainly to the topics of the program (e.g. Firenze, Padova, Pisa, Assisi, San Gimignano) but also to their international popularity without forgetting the culinary and oenological Italian traditions (e.g. Cinque Terre, Venezia, Pompei).
Only some of these sites will be visited each semester.

Roma
Upon arrival in Italy students will spend 3 days in Rome and it will be the first walk through history. Colosseum, Roman Fora, Vatican Museum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain...will represent a memorable welcome for them!
Firenze
Firenze (Florence) is only an hour away from Siena. We visit Firenze twice during the semester as part of the program to allow students the opportunity to see as many of the numerous treasures there as possible. The Uffizi and Accademia Galleries, Cathedral, Baptistry are just some of what there is to admire in this famous city, which is the capital of the Italian Renaissance.
