The Campbell Student Union currently has seven spaces that may be used for special events and programming. Please refer to "Reserving Space in the Campbell Student Union" for detailed information on when specific rooms are available for special events and programming.
The Assembly Hall is a smaller multipurpose room. It includes a small stage area, and an in-house microphone and sound system. This room is most commonly used for formal meetings, programs, banquets and rehearsals. The Assembly Hall capacity is 143; however, this is a standing room capacity only and will vary with a requested set up.

Due to the fact that the Fireside Lounge is used as public space for both commuter students and students who are looking for a convenient place to relax, the Fireside Lounge is available for special events and programming only during certain hours of the week. The Fireside Lounge is equipped with balcony doors, a fireplace and 40 small comfortable sitting chairs along the border of the room. The Fireside Lounge is most commonly used for smaller events and is characterized by its intimate, comfortable setting. The room’s capacity is 183; however, this is a standing room capacity only and will vary with a requested set up.
Named after Buffalo State alumnus, Mildred Keller Campbell, the Social Hall is a large multipurpose room that includes a stage area, as well as an in house microphone and sound system. The Social Hall can be arranged in a variety of settings to accommodate many activities and events. This room is most commonly used for large scale events such as dinners, ceremonies, talent and fashion shows. The Social Hall capacity is 688; however, this is a standing room capacity only and will vary with a requested set up.

The lobby of the Campbell Student Union is traditionally used in the daytime for student organizations and campus department fundraising and advertising purposes. With certain stipulations, the lobby can be used for special evening events such as poetry nights, fairs and dances.
The United Students’ Government (USG) Game Room houses a variety of recreational games and leisure activities such as air hockey, table tennis, billiards, arcade and board games. The Game Room also contains a television lounge. Events can be held in the Game Room during its normal operating hours; however the event must be open to the public. Private events held outside the normal operating hours are subject to a flat fee of $60 for a two hour minimum. Additional hours can be added at $20 per hour.
Conference Room 105 H
Located inside the USG Game Room, Conference room 105H is a space meeting space that can accommodate 30 people. The space is set up in a conference square and is equipped with dry erase boards and a presentation screen. The conference room is only available during the regular hours of the USG Game Room.
Conference Room 105 G
Located inside the USG Game Room, Conference room 105G is a space meeting space that can accommodate 30 people. The space is set up in a "classroom style" and is equipped with dry erase boards and a presentation screen. The conference room is only available during the regular hours of the USG Game Room.
There are currently four display cases available in the Student Union and are located in the lower lobby of the Student Union. Display cases allow campus organizations to advertise their organization's events and/or services on a larger scale.
