Association of Old Crows (AOC) Award Each year, AOC provides a scholarship to one of our physics majors nominated by the chair of Physics. The AOC is an electronic warfare organization. The "Old Crows" name emerged from the first use of electronic warfare during the Battle of Britain (WWII). The Allied Radio Countermeasure operators used the code name "Ravens" and military jargon later changed "Ravens" to "Crows."
