University Police Student Assistants (UPSAs) provide escort services to campus community members or visitors; monitor traffic; oversee social, cultural, and sporting events; and operate the Safe Escort Van and the Motorist Assistant Program van. They also make rounds in the residence halls and on campus grounds, and report suspicious behavior or unusual circumstances to University Police immediately. UPSAs use their radios to maintain constant contact with University Police.
