The department has its own private library housed in a spacious suite in neighboring Bacon Hall with over 3,000 Art Conservation texts for use by all of our students and faculty members. The department also subscribes to dozens of professional magazines, journals, and newspapers along with a significant holding of past publications for research and study. Many of our texts are one of a kind or out of print and cover an enormous range of conservation and conservation-related topics. The collection is computerized and is fully searchable with an online library database.

The library also serves as a place where students can go to study and relax, and houses an office for visiting faculty. There are two computers equipped with internet access and all Microsoft Office applications which are connected to laser printers for student use. A library copy machine dedicated to students to use will be installed in the coming months.
