COLLEGE POLICIES

There is no uniform class attendance policy set by the college.  Attendance regulations are established by each instructor and will be distributed at the start of each semester.  Upon request, the office of the dean of students will notify a student’s faculty of absence for legitimate reasons such as illness or death of a family member, provided that written documentation is submitted to verify the reason for absence.  However, acceptance of any reason for absence is at the sole discretion of the faculty member, who is neither required nor compelled to do so.
