Buffalo State Alumni Military Service Scholarship:
Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate or full or part- time graduate student, currently serving or with prior service in any branch of the United States military. Preference will be given to veterans who served on active duty two or more year. (click here for more information)
Genevieve C. and Richard C. Brown Scholarship Fund
Scope and Purpose: To provide scholarships to recruit female veterans who have been honorably discharged from military service of the United States who aspire to earn a degree from any academic discipline at Buffalo State. (click here for more information).

Tillman Military Scholars - Education. Leadership. Service.
The Tillman Military Scholars program supports our nation’s active and veteran servicemembers and their spouses by removing financial barriers to completing a degree program of choice. The scholarship funds cover not only direct study-related expenses such as tuition and fees, but also other needs, including housing and child care. (click here for more information).
The Veterans' Student Loan Relief Fund was established to provide assistance to veterans and their eligible dependents who have incurred educational debt and feel they are in financial difficulties as a result of being defrauded or misled by the proprietary (for-profit) school they attended. Leave No Veteran Behind addresses this issue by taking private donations and applying them directly to Veterans’ student loan accounts paying off the debt in full. Veterans must have completed some form of higher education, suffer from economic hardship, and have student loans because they were not fully covered by existing educational programs. AMVETS annually awards scholarships to veterans/active military, their sons, daughters or grandchildren. A son, daughter or grandchild of a deceased veteran is also eligible. Awarded on the basis of academic excellence and financial need, the scholarships go to deserving high school seniors, high school JROTC students and veterans pursuing a higher education.
